17 Pro display - how many nits?

how many nits is the iPhone 17pro display (i know the iPad's are only 500!!!)

    • 1000 nits max brightness (typical); 1600 nits peak brightness (HDR); 3000 nits peak brightness (outdoor); 1 nit minimum brightness

If it's peak brightness which makes the difference, you'll want to compare the 13 inch iPad Air M3, which goes up to 600 Nits or the iPad Pro M5 which goes up to 1000 Nits with normal content or 1600 nits with HDR Content.
