Sound broken on iPad scrolling Instagram
While scrolling through Instagram I noticed the sound turns off, all over my iPad. When I go to a radio website I do not hear anything. What are my options?

What brand are your headphones? I ask because my Apple AirPods automatically detect if they are in my ear. If they are not, sound plays over the speaker of my iPad. Try opening Settings, then tapping your headphones listed at the left. Scroll down. Do you see Automatic Ear Detection? If yes, make sure it is set to On.
You say you do not want your headphones to connect to your iPad via Bluetooth. How do you expect them to connect? We really need more information if we are to help.
