ipad9 becomes slow to unresponsive after update to ios26.x

has anyone experienced issues with ipad9 becoming slow to unresponsive after update to ios 26.2 ? Mine definitely has gone from good to slow and bad all of a sudden. like to hear your thoughts and resolution. i even disabled windowed mode which worked fine before to no avail.
