How do I fix a sticky side power button on iPhone 16?

The side home button on my iPhone 16 keeps getting stuck. I haven’t dropped it or had anything spill on it that I can recall, it is also always kept in a case. I used alchohol on a q-tip which freed it up for part of a day but it began doing it again later . It will still work when it is stuck in, it just difficult and wont “click”. Any recommendations of something else I could use to free it up?
