Obtrusive Bar above keyboard persists after updating to iOS 26 There is an annoying rectangle (curved edges) bar that persists above the keyboard on most websites and on all website forms that shows a key, card, location pin, and check mark icons. It blocks a large portion of the screen and makes the usable viewing space much smaller. Plus on many forums it is hiding submit buttons so I can’t even proceed with a form. This is a terrible design flaw. This helper bar should only be used like in prior iOS for when inputting a credit card. I don’t know why they have this persisting. It’s so annoying and takes away a good 3/4” of vertical docs and the entirety of the width of my screen 😡

Is it possible to remove the dynamic island bar at the top of iphone pro16? That bar is blocking content, videos, distracting when reading on my kindle. I absolutely HATE it. Why would i want to see a black bar on every single app. I tried looking for an answer and i saw one APPLE response to ask the app you on to make the viewing better for the bar? It never leaves. not on my home screen not on apple musics its always there an annoying. If i knew this would happen i wouldnt have upgraded. I miss my seamless blank screen. Now i have a constant bar. Is there anyway to remove this pLEASE> I want to return this if i cant

After fighting with this issue for a little while and asking ChatGPT about it, I found a way to fix this!

I enabled all Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size settings, waited 20 of seconds and then disabled the Show Borders setting first, followed by disabling every other setting after.
