Old Chats Reappearing After Set to Delete After 30 Days?

My iPhone, MacBook, and iPad are all set to store messages for 30 days. All 3 devices have messages synced to iCloud also with the setting to store for 30 days.

For some reason, I'm seeing old deleted chats reappear in my messages app across each device. The chats are all empty, but the group is visible. Some are dating back to 2023 that haven't been used in months or years. Any way I can permanently delete?
