How do I remove a persistent weather alert notification on iPhone 15?

Do this:

1. Open the Weather App.
2. Tap the warning banner at the top if it appears.
3. Let the app refresh for ~5–10 seconds.
4. Return to Notification Center and try clearing again.

Restart your iPhone and see if that helps.

Thank you. Moving the alert sideways to the left worked for me.

With your finger, slide the alert either sideways or up until you see the clear button and tap that.

Is this “never mind” because I figured it out, or because I no longer care, because I have the same issue and would be nice to have an answer if you found one.

If it shows up as a regular Weather notification, try Force Restarting. Or if this is an Emergency alert, it may not be dismissible.

• Press and quickly release the Volume Up Button
• Press and quickly release the Volume Down Button
• Press and hold the Side Button until you see the Apple Logo
