It's not always the iOS update's fault! Many things can cause phone problems. If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

Was/Is your device Jailbroken? If that's the situation, please be informed that attributing the issues to iOS updates may not be accurate.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.
Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.
Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.

The app developer or the device manufacturer may not have updated their software to ensure compatibility with the iOS version your device is currently running.
If you encounter any challenges with third-party applications or devices, the best course of action is to directly contact the app developer or the manufacturer for further assistance.

How to Contact the Manufacturer: How to pair your hearing aids with iPhone®
When contacting either the app developer or the manufacturer, be sure to provide specific details about the problem you're facing, including any error messages, screenshots, or steps to reproduce the issue. This information will help them better understand and resolve the difficulty you're experiencing.
Remember to remain polite and patient while seeking support, as it may take some time for the developers or manufacturers to respond to your inquiries.

Nothing to do with the App. Nothing to do either the device. Nothing to do with the phone. It was working before the latest IOS was installed. Then it stopped being possible to pair the device. It STILL works fine with an older iPhone using an older IOS !! So I must reasonably assume it is the latest IOS that has broken the way the app works.
Of course I have been discussing this with the manufacturer Oticon for hours. Of course I have removed the App and installed a fresh version from the Apple Store. Of course I have followed all the troubleshooting steps the manufacturer advised.

It is still up to Oticon to fix their software. I have no less than 8 Bluetooth devices paired with my iPhone on iOS 26.2. Nothing stopped working at all. Apple doesn't own Oticon, nor can they fix anything having to do with Oticon.
Sorry, but odds are it’s a lack of update to the app. Contact the vendor.
You obviously did not understand that I have already contacted the manufacturer and have had long discussions about it.
Backup on a iPhone won’t help because according to Apple you cannot go backwards to an older IOS. not possible-Apple say.
