Pop up On IPhone Reminders Blocks Access to Reminders

When using Reminders on my IPhone I receive a pop up that says “Go to iPad to Allow Alarms.” My iPad “Alarms” button is on, as is on the iPhone. I have reset everything, rebooted, removed Reminders from ICloud and restored Reminders to ICloud.

Nothing has worked and the pop up prevents me from accessing Reminders on my IPhone.

I went to Apple Support Chat and tried everything but nothing worked".

Reduce the text size or zoom on your phone. It's so large the entire message doesn't fit on the screen.

I had this problem on my iPad with iPadOS 26.

I followed KiltedTim's suggestion. I could then see an "OK" button. Clicking on that did remove the pop-up.

However:

  1. KiltedTim didn't tell us what to expect. ie "An OK button will appear, and clicking on that will remove the pop-up."
  2. Changing text size is not a good solution for people who can't work with small text.
  3. I tried to scroll down the message, but that didn't work. The scroll bar appeared, but the text didn't move. Nor did the OK button appear. I presumed that there was no OK button.
