if your ipad is signed into a different Apple account you cannot share most things on icloud let alone passwords and passkeys.

You could try making the "ipad you" part of your "iphone you"s family, but you ideally should wipe the ipad completely to fcatory settings, and set it up with your main apple account which is on the iphone. That of course would erase all data that is on the iPad and anything syncd to the ipad's icloud. Too big a subject to tell you how to save it.

Appreciate the information. Unfortunately, the iPad doesn't show the same images, but has the old list with a key in a grey background for Passwords. (iPad is up to date and so is iPhone). No number of passwords given on iPad. The complication is that in setting my devices up, I accidentally created a different iCloud account many years ago on the iPad. I've made sure that my contact information is in both devices and some things have shared back and forth before, like wifi passwords, but not this needed crossover. I am attempting to download the simplest app on my phone, but I cannot provide a password for it since the account for iCloud associated with my apps is the one on my iPad. I used to be able to find the password between devices, but in a security update, I opted for the passkey on the iPad.
