Revert back from IOS 26 on iPhone
Can you revert back from the IOS 26 update?
Can you revert back from the IOS 26 update?
After a software update is installed for iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS, and visionOS, it cannot be downgraded to the previous version.

What you can do about this:
You can provide ⇢ Product Feedback.
If enough requests are made, your feedback might help with future development, like a toggle in the settings.
Good luck! 👋🏼😉
No, but if you are having a problem with iOS 26 and could provide some details, we might be able to help.
Thank you for the response. Like many on this community, I do not like the reverse Black and White scenarios for Notifications, Alerts on the main screen, and emails. I find the White lettering on the Black/Gray background to be difficult to read - yes, I am an older person. Like someone said, there is a reason why books are black print on a white background. I have tried all the suggestions relative to the "Customize" edits, the "Liquid Glass" settings, and others. Nothing works.
Thoughts?
As for books, paper is naturally light in color. If you wanted white on black it would use a lot of ink. I don't think the black on white is factoring in perception preference but simply a matter of cost.
If you have "tried everything" then things may be hopeless.
I'm 78 and my wife is also 78. We find iOS 26 different....but have no significant issues with the new software.
If you have a few moments, you might want to tell Apple what you think.
