Turn Off and Delete iCloud Photos

I pressed Turn Off and Delete for iCloud Photos sync. Luckily, the photos on my device didn’t disappear, but they’re still on iCloud.com and I can’t delete them. Will they disappear automatically after 30 days? And will the photos on my device disappear too? 😭

Here are the steps:

Download your original photos and videos.
Go to Settings, then tap your name.
Tap iCloud, then tap Storage. In iOS 17 or earlier, tap Manage Account Storage.
Tap iCloud Photos.
Tap Turn Off and Delete Photos. In iOS 17 or earlier, tap Turn Off & Delete from iCloud. Photos and videos stored in iCloud are deleted 30 days after you stop using the service. If you change your mind before then, you can select Undo Delete.

As long as you did not skip the first step to Download your original photos and videos, the full resolution photos will remain on your device after the 30 days when they are deleted from iCloud.
