iPad Pro apps won't download after double tap

When trying to download apps (dictionary app) for iPad I tap ‘“get”. I get the closing circle to download. Then I get a symbol that says double tap in the corner. Nothing happens. I can’t show s picture of that item because I don’t know how to do a screen shot on iPad. I am using an iPad Pro.

Double-click the side button on the right side of your iPhone—or the top button on your iPad

Download apps on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

That's the physical button, not the screen.

If the button is unresponsive, slow down the press speed. Settings > Accessibility > Side Button. Select Slow for the button - From: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/255785612?answerId=260823900022#260823900022
