iPad Pro App Download

When I hit the get app button a window pops up that says double click to download. When I double click it it just closes the window and goes back to the get app page. Am I missing something?

Follow the steps listed here: If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


1.) Close App Store: Close an app on your iPad - Apple Support
2.) Restart your iPad: Restart your iPad - Apple Support
3.) Prioritize the download. From the Home Screen, touch and hold the app. From the menu that appears, choose Prioritize Download.
4.) You might need to have a valid payment method on file, even if the app that you want to download is free. Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support
5.) Connect to a different Wi-Fi network.
6.) Check for any Screen Time restrictions that might be preventing you from downloading apps: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
