Remove envelope icon from Numbers spreadsheet on iPad
I emailed a Numbers spreadsheet from my iPhone to my iPad and now on my iPad there is an envelope icon (see photo below).
How do I remove the envelope icon?
The symbol is there to give you a visual indicator that the file came via email, as opposed to created locally. IIRC there's a way to link to the specific email so you can track back where it came from, but I'm not on my iPad right nog to check/confirm.
I would assume that once you open the file and save it locally, the envelope icon would go away, since it's no longer associated with the email in question.
The other option is to not use email at all. If your iPad and iPhone are using the same iCloud account, you can just save the document to iCloud and it will automatically sync between the devices.
