Somebody help me with my IP address, please

I’m hoping somebody can help me with this issue so I used to play casino games on my phone all the time and then all of a sudden one day it just wouldn’t let me on anymore. It tells me I’m in the wrong region which I have not moved. I’m in the same exact place that I always have been, after doing some research. I found out that my IP address is in Detroit, Michigan and I am in Ohio this is why it’s not letting me on my casino games or a few other websites. How can I get my IP address to change back to somewhere in Ohio?

IP address geolocation is routinely wrong. Variously by hundreds of kilometers, and more.

IP address geolocation is best assumed to be accurate at the country level, and location data not any more granular within the country.

This inaccuracy because maintaining better accuracy is both more expensive to for internet service providers to maintain, and that improved accuracy also increases the risks to the providers’ subscribers.

And yes, mechanisms including ISP NAT, Private Relay, VPNs, and other such can also mask geolocation.

Gambling sites are too often sketchy or scams, too. The scam will find “reasons” to block payouts. Even among those gambling sites that are regulated, the house always wins
