Mac keeps Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro audio, iPhone no sound

I have Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro headphones.

When I connect them to my iPhone and my MacBook Pro M1 with dual connections

It looks like the Mac is keeping the connection even when I stop the music/YouTube.

And when I play video / FB / WhatsApp voice note, none of them plays any sound.

Only when I play music on the iPhone Music app or play YouTube on my iPhone, I get back the connection.

And also just for that time when I stop, it's back to the Mac

All this time, when I pull down the connection center, it shows that the sound is playing on the headphones

Any idea how to solve this greedy Mac behavior

I tried to dual-connect the headphones with my iPhone and Android tablet, and it all works smoothly.

(I can hear the last device that started to play sound )

Sound like some ongoing incompatibility issue...

Maybe there is some firmware update for your third party Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro headphones....(?)

report back what you discover.

You can try an Apple branded headphone and compare your results, seems this would be telling.

Hi leroydouglas
Thanks for the reply

I have contacted Soundcore about the issue, and they haven't had a solution yet.
I tested the headphone with an Android tablet and my iPhone, and the dual connection, heandover between the 2 devices all work perfectly.
The issue is that the Mac is not releasing the connection I think
Apple headphone not support dual connection as far as I know
