has anyone else been having heat issues still with their 15 pro max? mine has this issue where it will heat up and lag when I'm just doing something as simple as using the amazon app

The first troubleshooting step with a third-party app is to delete and reinstall it. If that doesn't help, contact the app developer.
No, I have no problems with the Amazon app, and I spend far too much time using it. There were reports several months back that using Rufus within the app caused issues for some people.

Your battery is nearing the end of its useful life at 85%. That could also be a contributory reason the app is causing your phone to heat faster. Once an iPhone battery dips to 80%, it needs to be replaced at your Apple Store Genius Bar and the cost is about $100.
Out of curiosity, what is your Battery Health, in Settings > Battery > Battery Health?
Already tried contacting the app developer and they told me I should contact my phone carrier instead since that is where I purchased it from so I guess I will just have to try that
