Apple Watch Ultra 2 won't unlock MacBook Air

I had an iWatch Series 7 sync to my account, and I could unlock my MacBook Air. Two weeks ago, I bought an Apple Watch Ultra 2, and I can't link it to my MacBook to be unlocked. I already unlinked the old iWatch from my account, but I still can't make the MacBook Air link with the Watch.
