Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and stop by toggling off all the apps you don’t want to use the background app refresh feature. This should stop battery draining by idle or less useful apps on your iPhone.

If purchased off of the App Store uninstall the app, then reinstall it. Hold down on the app, and then trash it while it is wiggling. Then, restart your iPhone. Then, download it and install it form the App Store.

C. Restore form a Backup:
