Is my iPhone 14 Pro jailbroken due to an accidental file download?

Accidently I cliked a mAadhar.apk file from whats up. I immediately realised that this spam and hence can hurt. However, when I saw that *.Apk files do not hurt iOS System I thought nothing damaged was done. However, today morning I find a message in my trading Platform (ICICI Direct) advising me that my phone has been jailbroken and hence the App cannot be used on the phone. Hence I looged from my Laptop and everything was alright. All other Applications on my iPhone even Banking software is working perfectly except ICICI Direct.com app. Even deleting and reloading has the same problem and message. Is my Phone 14 Pro really jailbroken now. It is purchased in India from authorised Apple resaler / retailer.

Please let me know how to resolve the issue.

An APK file is for Android devices only, it cannot be run on an iPhone. Simply Downloading a file cannot jailbreak a iPhone. Jailbreaking is a complex process not something that can be magically done by downloading a file.

The error reported by the trading app is probably coincidental with the file download and also likely a false positive by the App.

Was your iOS version maybe updated overnight?

Without knowing how the App determines that the iPhone has been jailbroken it's hard to say what may have happened. You may want to contact the app developer for support regarding their specific app and the error message.
