Work-around to keep from upgrading to latest version on iphone 8

Is there another option than upgrading iOS to latest version in order to use Capital One app on my iphone 8? Capital One app won't allow me to use it without upgrading to latest version. I have currently have iOS 16.7.12.

There is not. The developer of apps determine what iOS version they want to support and the Capitol One app requires iOS 17. That would require you to have a device that supports iOS 17 and your iPhone 8 is not capable of that.

Your only options are to do without the app, or get a newer phone.

If Capital One has a Web site, you could check to see whether you could access it using the version of Safari on your iPhone 8. There's no guarantee that you can, that you could do everything with the Web site that you can using the app, or that it would be as convenient. But you still could check it out.
