iPhone mobile data and calls failing after iOS 26.2 update

Hello Apple Support Team,

After updating my iPhone to iOS 26.2, I have been experiencing serious network and calling issues.

Although my phone shows a 4G/5G signal, mobile data does not work properly. In addition, whenever I receive or make a call, the call drops within about one minute, and both calling and mobile data stop working completely. At that point, the phone shows “Emergency” on the screen, and I am unable to make calls or use the internet.

This issue started only after the iOS 26.2 update and is severely affecting normal communication. I would appreciate your guidance or a fix for this problem as soon as possible.

If you have a VPN installed on your phone, whether used or not, get rid of it and any associated apps, restart your phone, then see if things are normal.


If you don't have a VPN installed on your iPhone, you need to contact your carrier as they are the ones who provide the services you're having an issue with and they may need to roll out a carrier update to your iPhone.
