Hey there ismo-acc,

Thankyou for sharing your concerns in a detailed format.

As I can see your able to receive incoming calls but outbound doesn't seem to be working.

For this there are some different actions we can look at to try and resolve this issue, pleas bare in mind as this is a new update there are going to be some put backs but hopefully we can resolve this today for you. *Please see the below information for the step by step guide.*

1. Basic Checks

  • Airplane Mode → Toggle it on for 10 seconds, then turn it off.
  • Carrier Settings → Go to Settings > General > About, If there’s a “Carrier Settings Update” pop-up, accept it.
  • Restart → Power off the phone, wait 30 seconds, and restart.

2. Check SIM / eSIM

  • If you have a physical SIM, eject and reinsert it.
  • If using eSIM, go to Settings > Cellular > Your eSIM > Turn Off This Line, wait 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Check if you have signal bars. If it says “No Service” or “SOS,” that’s a carrier network issue.

3. Test Outgoing Calls

  • Try calling different numbers (including landlines).
  • Dial *#31# then press Call — this disables outgoing caller ID blocking, which sometimes interferes with calls.
  • Dial ##004# and press Call — this resets call forwarding settings.

4. Reset Network Settings

  • Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

(This will erase saved Wi-Fi passwords, so make sure you have them.)

5. Carrier / Account Check

  • Make sure your account is active and not suspended. (Outgoing calls & data can be blocked if there’s a billing or SIM provisioning issue.)
  • Call your carrier (from another phone) and ask them to:
  • Refresh your line / reprovision data services.
  • Check for outgoing call barring.

6. Software / iOS Update

  • Go to Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest iOS version (sometimes modem firmware updates fix this exact problem).

7. Last Resort

If nothing works:

  • Back up your iPhone (iCloud or iTunes/Finder).
  • Restore iOS using Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Erase All Content and Settings or via computer.
  • Test outgoing calls before restoring backup — this ensures it’s not a software/config issue.

If this doesn't work I would suggest booking a repair at a local apple store here > Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple (UK) as they may be able to look at the system more better.
