The EPUB book uses DRM digital rights management; copy protection, content protection, piracy protection.

Not only is converting EPUB to PDF a mess in general, this particular book is specifically constructed to prevent copying and converting; to prevent exactly what you want to do here.

I don't know what it means or how to convert it to pdf

You will want to ask the book rights holder for assistance with converting their protected content, or will want to ask the rights holder if they can provide a PDF.

Nobody around here can help you bypass copy protection.

Calibre does not read it.

Nor would Calibre or most other non-DRM-aware tools be expected to read protected content.

I tried pay apps: Ebook Converter, The Ebook Converter, but does not work

What you are attempting to do here is indistinguishable from pirating that EPUB.

Purchased EPUB books can use mechanisms to prevent pirating the books.

The anti-piracy mechanisms include blocking all of what you have tried to do here.

Purchase a copy licensed for the platform you want to use with this EPUB or your preferred PDF target, purchase a non-DRM copy if available or purchase a PDF if available, or negotiate with the rights-holder for permission to do what you want here to get this PDF.

Both of those are output formats, not document source file formats. That won’t work well.

What Adobe suggests with Word: https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/hub/how-to-insert-pdf-into-word.html

Screenshots and text extraction and pasting the text into a new source document can also work.

Wouldn’t surprise me to learn the hosted services perform that OCR pass, in addition to collecting your data.

If you have the original document, export from that, or convert that into something else that can export to PDF.

Did I understand you right: you mean that ny ebook that is free to download on internet, is in fact piracy and I am a thief

My difficulty in distinguishing your efforts here from piracy is an observation, and not an accusation.

Our Apple hosts prefer we not discuss “working around digital rights management software”.

The rights-holder here can use their access to the book sources to generate a PDF, or to convert what sources the rights-holder has into a format that can then itself be converted into a PDF.

If the work is in the public domain in your region, or if the rights-holder has authorized this, or if you are the rights-holder, or other such cases, then find another way to get to the preferred PDF file. That preferably not starting from an EPUB file, or from an EPUB with DRM. (Whether or not DRM is involved here unclear.)

Download availability and pricing are not particularly related to limits set by the rights-holder and their copyright. A book can quite possibly be free, freely downloaded, copyrighted, and protected by DRM, too.
