iPhone Calendar app swaps alert order

Why, when I add something to my calendar on my iPhone and set alerts eg: first alert 1 week/ second alert 1 day ; the calendar app then swaps those round? It’s a long running issue that happens on all models of iPhone.

The alerts will fire in the correct order. The alert for one week ahead will fire one week before, the one for one day will fire one day before. What they're labeled doesn't change that.

Apparently, Apple has decided to label things this way, with the alert closest to the due date "first." No one here in this user-to-user forum would know why.

And in the meanwhile, set the alerts and don't spend too much time looking at them if they bother your.
