Hey i'm trying to factory reset my MacBook Air. I've saved and backed up everything I need, but when I try to erase it, it's showing this despite nothing appearing to be still syncing? I've turned the laptop on and off a couple of times, but I'm just a bit scared to continue in case I lose anything. Any advice? I'm an idiot with these things so idk
It is trying to tell you that you have content on the machine that has not yet been fully synced to iCloud.
If you continue, any data on the machine that has not been synced to iCloud will be lost.
If you have that data backed up elsewhere, then you're fine, Otherwise you need to let it finish syncing or make sure you have a backup copy somewhere else before you continue with the reset.
