YouTube keeps playing in a foreign language on iPhone

The YouTube app on one of our iPhones keeps playing videos in a foreign language, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, it keeps changing but it's usually an Asian language. On the other iPhone, it's always in English.

All of the settings are for United States and English. I've researched everything I can about this and changed every setting I can find, on the app and on the iPhone.

Is this an iPhone issue or a YouTube issue? There is no getting help from Google, so I might as well throw the phone away if it's that.

If anyone has a solution to this that will stick, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.

Perhaps to try a different Google Accounts user name

or create a different profile name (with lesser access)

to test the idea of making any Google items work..

I'd had some headway with a second gmail & later

also used it (with iPhone and Mac) but had to add

any favorites or channels, to the main Google acct.

{Because a primary account in my opinion, is

best used for more secure or personal tasks.}
