Why isn’t adding to “an album” an option under “add actions”, but adding to a “shared album” is? It makes it so hard to move photos to the correct place if selecting them from files or elsewhere. It’s so dumb to not see the option for add “to album” for anything photo related. Everything worked fine before iOS 26.2

I'm not sure what's difficult about moving a photo into an Album for you. Open your Photos App. Tap a photo or if you want to add multiple photos, tap Select at the top and choose all the photos you want. Then see the box with an up arrow on the bottom left of the screen. Tap that box, swipe up to see Add to Album. Tap that and choose the album you want to add the photo(s) too.

The “Add Actions” tab for photos is lacking such basic options.
