Error replying to Apple Support Community posts on iPad

I have an ongoing Apple technical issue when responding to replies to questions I've posted.


My iPad is my primary gateway to the world as I use it for email, accessing web pages, reading kindle books, emailing, you name it.


Whenever I use it to correspond in this forum, the forum rejects my replies. Entering a question is no problem but replying always results in this error message. Of course this only happens when I'm replying; asking a new question works fine.


I don't know who or how to contact Apple to report this. I'm sure I'm not the only user who has experienced this.

There have been some forum bugs for a couple of months. The "Petulant Pink Panel of Pain" is one of them. This week has been better for me but not perfect as the debugging continues.


When I get "pinked" I copy what is in the panel, reload the page, paste, and try again. That often get you past the bug,


I doubt the main Apple feedback link for web issue will reach the right people. You can email the moderators—their address is in the forum Terms of Use document— if you wish. I have reporting privileges so I will contact the Mods regarding your issue as well.

Yeah, it happens. It's usually transient. How are you replying? Are you replying from an email notification? Or by going directly to the post through your browser? Replying from the emails is always problematic.


I don't often access the forums from anything but a computer, though I don't recall seeing this issue any more when using my iPad than when using my MBP. Sometimes refreshing the page makes it go away (copy your response first). Sometimes hitting cancel and starting over works. Sometimes logging out and logging back in works. Rarely, nothing at all works. I assume that's the universe telling me I don't need to be posting that reply.
