Will Apple Creator Suite run on macOS Ventura 13.7.8?

I'm currently using Ventura 13.7.8 on my imac - as was thinking of getting the Apple Creator Suite to replace Adobe CC. Is there a Creator version that will run using Ventura?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 13.7

Even the current versions (v14.4) of Pages, Numbers, or Keynote presently require macOS Sonoma 14.0 or later. Apple is not in the habit of releasing new product that retroactively works on what is now, an unsupported Ventura operating system.

Just because Apple named it Creator Suite does not make it a functional replacement for Adobe Creative Cloud or other Adobe products. Caveat emptor, provided you can upgrade your Mac to Sequoia or later, where the additional AI features can be optionally used.

Your tag line indicates that you have a 21.5" iMac. That implies that it is an Intel-based iMac. To upgrade as far as Sequoia, it would need to have a hardware model year of 2019 – and then, Sequoia would be the end of the line.

The current version of Pixelmator Pro requires Monterey or higher. But according to About Apple Creator Studio - Apple Support),

  • "Full Apple Creator Studio functionality is available with macOS 26, iPadOS 26, and iOS 26."
  • "All Mac apps require macOS 15.6 or later, except for Pixelmator Pro, which requires macOS 26 or later."

Which means that the Apple Creator Studio version of Pixelmator Pro won't run on your 21.5" iMac. At all. I would not be surprised if Apple soon raised the requirement for the standalone version, as well.

Many of the AI features require Macs with Apple Silicon processors – which your 21.5" iMac doesn't have. And as others have pointed out, just because Adobe and Apple have both used variations on the word "Creative" to name their suites does not mean that the suites are direct competitors or 1:1 replacements for each other.

No. Apple Creator Studio requires macOS Tahoe (26.x).

And it's not what I'd call a replacement for Adobe CC. A few of the Creator Studio bundled apps may be considered competitors to certain Adobe apps (Pixelmator Pro & Final Cut Pro come to mind) but they are not feature-for-feature replacements ... and the Creator Studio vs Adobe CC bundles are not comparable.
