M4 Mac mini dropping Magic Keyboard/Trackpad connection

My brand new M4 Mac mini keeps dropping connection to my Magic Keyboard and Trackpad. It's done it four times while trying to type this. Sometimes I see the spinning wheel of death, other times the pointer disappears and then eventually reappears and says the keyboard or trackpad are now "reconnected". Please tell me how to fix this! Spent two hours with online support, I've restarted, reconnected, and the mini is less than six inches from the devices.

The Mac mini's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antenna is located under the bottom cover, which makes the reception prone to interference from high speed USB drives, poorly shielded USB cables and other devices that emit a high EMF like speakers, a cordless phone base, etc....

If you have USB devices connected to and/or in-between the Mac mini and Keyboard or Trackpad..?

1) Disconnect those USB devices one device at a time and test.

2) Replace thin poorly shielded USB cables with shielded cables and test.

3) Move all of your USB drives/devices to one side or behind the Mac mini and test.

4) Stand the Mac mini on it side with the bottom facing your Keyboard, Trackpad and Router.

I've had my Mac mini M4 on its side since the day I got it and have no issues with the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. Per what Den.thed said about the antenna's location, that may be all you need to do.

Have you tried going into System Settings..., Bluetooth, click on each device, then tap the (i) icon for Info and select Forget Device, forcing them to pair up again with your Mac mini?

Some ideas to try.
