Completely remove third-party app from computer?

i turned off notifications for top.macros-updates.com in system settings but is it possible to completely remove it from my computer also? and do i need to?

It is not clear if you have anything installed on your computer or if you were just viewing Notifications from a website that you had previously allowed. Some nefarious websites will ask you to receive notifications from them and they will appear in the upper right corner of your computer whether you are using Safari or not. For these type of notifications, you do not have anything installed that is causing it to appear and you just need to go to Safari > Settings > Websites > Notifications, and remove EVERY website that you have previously allowed.


If that is not the source of the notification, then the best way to determine if you do have something installed on your computer is to post the free EtreCheck report using the Additional Text option when posting. The report contains no personal information and you do not have to pay anything to post the report here by following these instructions.
