lately I’ve been seeing this blue symbol at the top of my iPhone…what is it and can I get rid of it permanently? I can turn it off temporarily, but it comes right back in a few minutes.

Hmmm that’s not the exact symbol though. What is the flower in the center? Doesn’t look like a gear to me either. I had search the web quite a bit and was unable to find anything exactly like that. So weird. I did download the update last night so if that was it it’ll stop. Funny how these things drive you nuts. Thank you both!
That symbol (gear icon with circular arrows) implies a software update in progress. ⚙️🔄
