airpods pro 3 case issue

On December 24th, I received my AirPods Pro 3. Unfortunately, the case has suddenly stopped charging, prompting me to send it to the Apple service center. I am perplexed by the need to wait several days for a repair or diagnosis. Why not simply replace the case, considering that it is still under warranty? I am concerned about the reliability of Apple’s service.
