New Apple Watch 11 user.
I understand that Wrist Detection benefits other features, like the Health; But why isn't there a clear fix or instruction for it disabling the coolest feature, Always On Display ?
The answer is out there, and I know I'm missing something, here.

Always On Display is always enabled.
The functionality would be visible.
When Wrist Detection is enabled at the same time, the screen goes black.
Disabling the Always On Display function.
When Wrist Detection is then disabled, the Always On Display function returns, "re-enabled"
What makes you think it disables it?
That's now how it behaves on my Watch 10 with WatchOS 26.2.
