MacBook Air M4 AppleCare+ monthly plan: India to Italy

hi, so I just bought a MacBook Air M4, in India. I want to get AppleCare + but with the monthly installment package but, I move back to Italy in 2 months and the Italian Apple website does not have a monthly package for AppleCare +, only the yearly. So I want to know if I buy the monthly plan now and keep auto renewal on, would it still keep renewing even after I move and change regions? or would it nudge me to move to a yearly plan or would it just drop everything off cause by then it would have been more than 60 days since the purchase of my device??

And if I buy AppleCare + in India, would it still be valid when I live in Italy? Please lmk if anyones faced a similar issue, thanks!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.5

I don't know if there is a simple or happy answer to your question but I do know that if you change country settings on your account (as you should when you move to reside in a different country) that you have to cancel all subscriptions in the old country.

Note that this whole topic may be moot: Apple's warranty restrictions may preclude getting service on a device in another country. Legal - Mac Warranty ROW - Apple "Apple may restrict warranty service for hardware products to the country or region where Apple or its Authorized Resellers originally sold the device."

If you wish, you can contact Apple about this. This support article has various country telephone numbers for contacting Apple for support and service ➔ Contact Apple Support - Apple Support Scroll down to “Connect with live support”. If your country is not in the list, do to the “Other countries” entry at the end of the list. Not every country has telephone support, and phone numbers may only work when calling from the same country.
