How to change default country in Contacts?

how to change by contacts the default of the country

I don’t know why the default is Spain. I live in the Netherlands.

Go to Settings>General>Language & Region>Region and make sure you have selected the correct country.

Perhaps your iPad still thinks it's 1556.
