Iphone 15+ lockout during transfer from older iphone 11

I just got a new iphone 15+, it was working cool and all, unlocked. I went put in my apple id,and it started to sign in and everyhing was going smooth and then it stopped. It had already asked me about using my passcode at this point so I used the same passcode as I did for my older phone. Input it twice and it kept updating then just stopped. Went to the lock screen, tried to unlock didn't unlock. Then it locked me out. So i went to my FindMy app and didn't even see the phone listed to erase, so I'm stuck. I try to put in recovery mode and connect to my computer(pc), but my computer doesn't seem to pick it up, nor does iTunes. This is so frustrating.

I keep inputting the same exactnumber as my other device and still it doesn't open. I enabled face ID to see if it could enable it over there too and still nothing. I may need to go to apple.

"the lock is complete, but I still can't open using face id and my passcode does not work on it. I've been entering the same passcode i use for all my iphones, but for whatever reason it doesn't work on this one. It not listed as a device on 'findmy' but it was listed here when I started to discuss the issue. It looks like the phone isn't connecting to wifi either when previously when it was unlocked it did. Now I'm stuck where I'm entering the wrong password each time and the time is gradually going up. I'm on an hour right now. I don't know what the next one is, but I don't wanna touch it."

Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:

Only Apple can unlock this --no one else. So, contact Apple Support. Refer to the following...

Hold It Right There!:

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPad, or your iPad is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

Being Locked Out...

Have any Proof of Purchase?

Unless you have the original packaging and receipt, you may be out of luck. If you do have it, however, then take this to an Apple Store, or an AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider)! and they may be able to restore it. The reason for this blockage is all about Security & Privacy.

if your phone still looks like the photo ie "iphone unavailable" then you only have two choices...

Go to an Apple Store (and maybe pay) for them to recover it, or

Recover it yourself as follows If you forgot your iPhone passcode or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

Thank you for the followup reply.

Troubleshooting Locked iPhone After Transferring to New iPhone:

I'd let it sit for 24 hours, and then proceed from there.

A. Purchasing an iPhone:

So, who is the seller of this item? If Apple, and AASP, or a retailer, then no worries there. If not, then it might be locked because it was never reset properly. When selling a perviously-owned device, the seller should perform as instituted here, including the iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

B. Perform a Force Restart:

Go Here: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

C. Use Quick Start:

How exactly are your performing this transfer? QuickStart is what to use: Use Quick Start to Transfer Data to a New iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

D. Is it Seen Here?: https://www.icloud.com/find

E. Apple Can Unlock It:

Do you still have the original reset of purchase? If so, take this to an Apple Store along with a valid photo ID, and have them unlock it for you.

Troubleshooting Locked iPhone After Transferring to New iPhone:

By your reporting, it almost seems it is in a Boot Loop. So, layback on touching this until the lock completes. Then, get it out of the Boot Loop. Use my User Tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip

A)I bought it from a retailer that sells iphone/androids etc.

B)I tried the force restart mode and I did get the phone into, but still my computer doesn't detect it, nor is it detected on "apple devices" I tried my mother's iphone 15+ and hers is not being read either I used multiple USB type C to see if that was the issue and still it's not connecting to computer to Force Restart/Restore.

C)I was performing a transfer where I had to hold up one phone to the other to scan like this "cloud" lookiing thing on the other, while it was transferring it asked me for my face id, I declined then asked me for my password and I entered it twice and it continued then stopped. Then when I attempt to unlock the phone again, which was previously not locked, my passcode wasn't working. My only worry is that i "fat fingered" it, but twice it just seems unlikely.

D) I don't see it under FindMy, but I do see it come up when I was putting in this issue it was one of 'my phones" but doesn't populate findmy for whatever reason

E) I Don't have the original receipt.
