In settings / general / keyboard / hardware keyboard you should be able to set Globe to either do emoji or change languages.

The command control space did not work. However, I was able to fix the problem by going to General, hardware keyboard and pressed the Globe emoji.
Does command control space bring it up?
Re spellcheck issues, if you have wound up with bilingual keyboards, try going back to monolingual:

Just sent another query. Now that the emoji keyboard works fine, the English and French keyboard are no longer working properly. I have tried many different thinks ie: command control space, clicking on the globe (which used to work just fine before update), I removed the keyboards, shut down the iPad and rebouted. None of this fixes have worked. So frustrating. Let me point out that I’m not having any issues with the IPhone or IPad. It is the IPad Majic Keyboard that is causing these difficulties.
Can anyone help me out with this, please. Thanks!

What exactly is not working? Are you unable to switch between them? Control Space should work for that.
Is there something else?
Before the update, I would simply press on the Globe on the keyboard and all languages I had listed in settings, general, keyboard would show up. I could toggle from one to the other. Now, I find that pressing on the Globe will bring up the Emoji keyboard only.
When I am on messenger or writing an email, the keyboard automatically goes to the French keyboard. I have to play around with control, space or control, cmd, space and try to choose the language I want to use.
As I am writing this in English, pressing on control, space will show me that there is a FR or ES choice, however, I am having problems choosing one of them. It jumps from one to another and you have to hope you land on the one you want. Also, as I am writing in English, some of these words have a red underline, and I can’t figure out why. If I press on the underlined work, nothing comes up to indicate the problem.
What happened to the Globe having all the keyboard selections?
Thanks, Tom for trying to help me figure this out. I appreciate your help!
