Are iPhone 17 Pro Max lenses safe during screen protection applicator machine use in Apple stores?

Is the usage of screen protection applicator machines in Apple stores, safe for iPhone 17 pro max?

Though this iPhone lenses covers (which or are not below the back surface height in this model) touch surfaces - inside the machine or at the top of it while removing bubbles?
