Updated to iOS 26.2 > Now no voicemail access (screen goes blank)

I have an iPhone 15 Pro and recently upgraded to iOS 26.2. Now I cannot check my voicemail. I see a brief Screen Limit warning, then the screen goes blank and back to my icon screen. I get notifications of a new voicemail, but no missed call noted. I do have parental control on my kids phones, but as an adult never had the restrictions on myself. How do I fix this?

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26

I called Telus, however, the issue required me to call Apple Support. The advisor showed me that it was a setting in: Settings > Screen Time > Communication Limits. I have never had these turned on in the past, perhaps it was update?

I'm glad you got it resolved. It just never occurred to me it might have been a Screen Time setting.

This isn't an iOS 26.2 issue. If it was, it would happen on every iPhone updated to iOS 26.2 and yet it's not.

Voicemail is a carrier provided feature. But before I contacted my carrier the first thing I'd do is Force Restart my iPhone. I actually do this procedure immediately after EVERY iOS update --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

If the Force Restart doesn't help, then you need to contact your carrier for help.
