Apple computer not receiving texts after update
i updated my computer and now my apple phone will receive text but my apple computer will not.

You need to make sure Messages on your iPhone is configured to Forward Text Messages to your Mac, or that you have iCloud enabled on Messages.
You may also need to power cycle your iPhone. I just ran into an issue the other day where I was only getting some text messages on my Mac. I had to power cycle my iPhone to fix it and somehow the "Forward Text Messages" option was no longer an option on my iPhone (it was previously....not sure why it is no longer visible).
Sometimes you may even need to quit the Messages app on your Mac & restart it as it may ask you to authenticate whereas you may not get any notice that you have been "disconnected"/signed out. Rebooting the Mac may sometimes be necessary as well.
