I've made no changes to any of my settings, no recent downloads, etc. But just this morning my text messages on my computer will not send or receive messages. Can it be a wifi problem? My iPhone still sends and receives OK.

I addition to being linked through the same Apple-ID, your iPhone must be powered on, in range of cell service and be covered by a txting plan. In addition, the link between computer and iPhone seems to be fragile, and reconnecting may take checking the settings on each device, then restarting each device in turn, possibly more than once.
