iOS 26 iPad Landscape English keyboard with no fullstops (period)
If you look at the keyboard in portrait mode, you will see full stop as lower case on key with question mark (?)
If you click on ? when in landscape, you get a fullstop.

What I see - in your first 2 photos the period is there, in your 3rd photo the period is not there because the upward arrow is black indicating when you type letters will be capitalized, no period shows. When you touch that black arrow, or when you do not type capital letters, it should go white and the period will appear again.

OMG... It gets more confusing.
If I reply to an email in Mail, when in landscape mode the keyboard comes up with no fullstop. As soon as I start typing any characters, the fullstop appears on the keyboard as lower case with ?. Solves Mail mystery.
In Notes, the fullstop never appears on the keyboard.
I am going to post several screenshots when using Mail and Notes, but in preparing those for you, the water really got muddy and I'm going to confuse the issue trying to explain.
When using the keyboard in landscape mode when replying to an existing email, there is no fullstop on the keyboard, but typing using the lower case ? key, it types a fullstop.
When using the keyboard in landscape mode when creating a NEW email, the fullstop is displayed on the keyboard by itself.
When using the keyboard in landscape mode in Notes, the fullstop is never displayed, but again, typing using the lower case ? key, it types a fullstop.
This is my wife's ipad, so I have not tried changing the screen resolution to see if that fixes the problem. Will try that later.
In mail, showing the keyboard when in the address line is irrelevant. For that line there is a modified keyboard that omits some characters which cannot be used in email addresses, including ?
But you really should have both ? and . on the bottom right key in Notes, even at the beginning of a line. That's what I have.
Could you post a screenshot of what you are talking about? I have period showing on my keyboard on my iPad mini in both portrait and landscape and it works as expected here using Safari.

I can’t duplicate that. On my mini using Mail and Notes the keyboard always shows both period and ?
