Apple Lightning Camera Adapter WILL NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE - 1-19-26

Apple iPad - updated to ios 26.2 today. Apple Lightning Camera Adapter - STUCK at version 1.01 - WON'T UPDATE.

Plug in adapter, get message Update available, Click on Update and...

IT WILL NOT UPDATE...

And of course, adapter DOES NOT WORK...cannot connect external USB drive even when powering iPad through lightning connector on adapter.

HELP!
