Using Google Earth Studio for "Fake" Drone Shots?

Google Earth Studio looks very useful for including "fake-drone" type shots in films.

I checked out this chap's tutorial and everything seemed straightforward until I tried getting on to Google Earth Studio and was presented with a blank white page.

In the introductory blurb Google had mentioned something about making sure you have the latest version of Chrome . . . . so does that mean I would need the Mac-Killer installed in order to use GES?
