1 - Change display scaling : System Settings → Displays

Click your monitor

Switch from Default for display >> to More Space or Larger Text

Log out (or reboot)

2 - Set wallpaper to Still (not Dynamic)

Use any non-Tahoe wallpaper (problem disappears completely)

Disable Stage Manager if you use it

If you’re on a 4K display: try 2560×1440 (HiDPI) instead of native 3840×2160

The left side doesn't look all that "flat" to me. I don't actually see the issue, although I clearly see the posted image. The Tahoe wallpaper has all kinds of textures that vary across the screen space. I would guess if a user does not like one wallpaper, they would simply select a different one? Since the readership here consists of Apple user community, none of the Discussions participants have any means to change the Apple-supplied wallpapers, although there seem to be scores of wallpapers to choose from. I like the Tahoe wallpaper. My wife likes the purpley wallpaper from several OS versions ago and insists that I set it up for her every time there is an OS change.

Yes, wow amazing solution. Stretch it out, yeah. There are millions of wallpapers to choose from, I am not saying that I am staring at something that can not be changed, but if I change it by par example the Sequoia wallpaper, it's flat in every corner, so is every wallpaper in the settings. But I still wonder why I am staring at Google-Earth at the Rocky Mountains or something. I know it's a flaw, it is a mistake, and it should be mentioned thanks for the change the wallpaper comment.

So again I am not saying that I have a problem, but that the Tahoe wallpaper has one. I am serious, iron it out.
