Joue Play MIDI Keyboard no longer enumerates on Apple Silicon Macs

My Joue Play MIDI keyboard won't connect to any of my Apple Silicon Macs. It doesn't show up as a USB device now. There was an existing entry in MIDI Studio, so I'm sure it connected before, but that entry is now grayed out.

Has there been anything in any recent update that would affect USB devices? The Joue keyboard does show up under Windows, so I'm guessing it's a compatibility issue. Tried different ports and cables.

Note that this is on an M4 Max Studio (Sequoia), and an M1 Max Studio (Tahoe), and a M4 Macbook Air (Sequoia).

Does it not show at all under System Information?

(hold down Option key, and choose System Information... from the Apple menu; then click USB)

If it does not even show there, I can't see it working.

But if it does show, maybe it is a matter of permissions.

macOS has become stricter and stricter, for security reasons.

Check under System Settings->Privacy & Security, what you have set for "Accessories".

Maybe it is being blocked.

Did you verify with Joel Play that the MIDI model you have is compatible with Silicon Macs and the system you're running?

The company is out of business with no point of contact, or I would certainly have worked with them before going public. As I said, it worked before but I hadn't used it in a while. Maybe a couple of months. You can see that it was recognized at some point in the image below.

Note that while it shows up as USB in Windows, the MIDI doesn't show up. But the same thing happens to me with my Yamaha MX88 which is fine in macOS. Apparently, Windows 11, along with it's many other issues is now even more problematic with MIDI. What is Windows now? 40 years old? Sheesh.
