mail app saved draft bug

macbook pro 14 persistent bug noted in sonoma mail app - saved draft later reopened cannot be edited. Is it fixed in tahoe 26.2?

You just need to double click the draft email so it will open in a new window where you can then edit and send it. Try that.


If that is what you are seeing, it is not a bug and how draft emails has always worked. The same is true for Sequoia as well.

I just wrote a reply to the helpful respondent, hit "Post".


It changed colour to pink. With an error message that it could not be posted. I was logged in, am still logged in. And my reply was smoked somehow. To Jim, if you read this, thankyou for your reply.


And this is not the first time of this result with previous attempts to make postings.


Reloaded the page. Trying again. It also refused to post this abbreviated reply. This happened last time I used this board. Something needs fixed.

There has been some site maintenance going on that does affect operations. I have seen the previous page you referenced before where it will not let you post with a message to sign in even though you are already signed in, but it hasn't happened yet for me today. Today I have experienced a Too Many Requests (429) error and there are discussions on that one as well where I suspect it will be addressed.
